Iowa State traveled to Ohio Saturday to hold a satellite camp in Cleveland at Notre Dame College, and there were several top individual performances turned in.
Linebacker Josh Chandler stood out among his position group as one of the players the Cyclone staff took an interest in. He is coming off two excellent seasons, and is primed to have a breakout season as a senior.
"I have ten offers right now, with the latest being from Akron, Marshall, Western Kentucky and Air Force," Chandler stated. "I would say all of the schools that have offered are pretty even to me right now."
"I will be going to see most of these schools for camps this month," he continued. "My plan is to make my commitment by the end of July, so I can concentrate on my senior season."
Chandler participated in the Pittsburgh camp on Sunday, and while he was not offered he did spend time with the Panther staff.
"I did well at the Pitt camp," he explained. "I had a ten foot broad jump, and a 4.1 shuttle. I talked to Coach (Rob) Harley and he said they like me a lot. I also spoke with Coach (Pat) Narduzzi."
