LB Josh Chandler Looking For First Power 5 Offer

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Canton (OH) McKinley linebacker Josh Chandler was one of the top performers at Saturday's Iowa State satellite camp in Cleveland. The 2018 recruit holds ten offers currently.

Iowa State traveled to Ohio Saturday to hold a satellite camp in Cleveland at Notre Dame College, and there were several top individual performances turned in.

Linebacker Josh Chandler stood out among his position group as one of the players the Cyclone staff took an interest in. He is coming off two excellent seasons, and is primed to have a breakout season as a senior.

"I have ten offers right now, with the latest being from AkronMarshallWestern Kentucky and Air Force," Chandler stated. "I would say all of the schools that have offered are pretty even to me right now."

"The Iowa State coaches all talked to me tonight, and they said they're interested in me," he added. "I'm also hearing from PittsburghKentuckyCincinnati and Michigan State."

"I will be going to see most of these schools for camps this month," he continued. "My plan is to make my commitment by the end of July, so I can concentrate on my senior season."

Chandler participated in the Pittsburgh camp on Sunday, and while he was not offered he did spend time with the Panther staff.

"I did well at the Pitt camp," he explained. "I had a ten foot broad jump, and a 4.1 shuttle. I talked to Coach (Rob) Harley and he said they like me a lot. I also spoke with Coach (Pat) Narduzzi."
