Litchfield Ajavon had a breakout season last fall. Due to his efforts, Ajavon's scholarship total is well into double digits.
Duke was the latest to pull the trigger.
"It's a great school academically, and academics are something my school really stresses," said the 6-foot, 190-pound Ajavon. "Duke is one of the best schools in the nation.
"I've talked to (offensive coordinator) coach (Zac) Roper a few times. He's a nice guy and down to earth. Coach Roper is also very honest. He's been telling me he wants me to visit and check things out. I'm not sure when I'll visit, but hopefully it will be soon."
One of his next stops will be Notre Dame.
"I don't have a date yet, but I'm going to try to schedule it soon," Ajavon said. "It's a great academic school and they have a strong football tradition. I want to see how the coaches and players interact because I want to go to a school where I'm comfortable.
"(Linebackers) coach (Clark) Lea is recruiting me and he's told me he really wants me to come visit. He's told me he's excited for me the see everything that Notre Dame offers academically and athletically."
