The first four offers are in for Josh Calvert and several more could be on the horizon.
The class of 2019 two-way standout from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian has an older brother, USC commit Bo, who has gone through the recruiting process and his is off to a great start as well, with offers from BYU, Utah, Notre Dame and California already on the list. The likes of Ohio State, Virginia and Texas have also expressed interest, and the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Calvert said he's also looking into the two local programs, UCLA and USC.
Calvert has not decided which side of the ball he would like to focus on, but he does have the potential to play linebacker on defense as well as quarterback and receiver on offense. He is also a standout baseball player and is giving that sport serious consideration in the future, with the possibility that he could play at the next level.
Check out the video above to hear what Calvert had to say about his first few offers and the rest of his recruitment.
