3-Star Tate Goodyear Lands Cincinnati Offer

A strong camp appearance at Cincinnati was all it took for offensive lineman Tate Goodyear to land an offer from the Bearcats. The three-star recruit holds several offers.

Cincinnati Sycamore offensive lineman Tate Goodyear has put together an expanding offer list this year, and a recent appearance at the Cincinnati camp resulted in an offer from the Bearcats.

Goodyear, a three-star prospect, also holds an offer from Iowa State and these two schools are in prime position to receive a commitment.

"The Cincinnati offer is a huge blessing to me," Goodyear stated. "I've always been around the UC program growing up, and now to have the opportunity to play for them is just a dream."

"The camp experience was great and Coach (Ron) Crook is just a fantastic offensive line coach," he added. "I also think Coach (Luke) Fickell is doing a great job turning the program around, and it's fun seeing the changes they're making."

"Again, Cincinnati is a dream place to play for me and I'm very excited to have the chance to play here," he continued.

With over 20 offers to his credit, Goodyear has shown college recruiters he has the ability to play at the next level.

"My biggest offer along with Cincinnati is Iowa State," Goodyear explained. "They're in the Big-12 and I think a lot of the program. I also like Central Michigan and Marshall."

"I'd like to make my decision before my senior season if possible," he said.
