OG Khris Banks in action at The Opening Regional; Big Ten, ACC offers

Wayne (N.J.) DePaul offensive guard Khris Banks in action during the spring's The Opening Regional.

Khris Banks, an offensive guard from Wayne (N.J.) DePaul,  made a mark during the camp and combine circuit with impressive performances in 1-on-1 competitions.

The 6-foot-2, 285-pound Banks was offered by Rutgers and Boston College to go with offers from MarshallCentral MichiganKent StateTemple and Buffalo, and his strong spring began at The Opening Regional in north Jersey.

The 1-on-1 clips from that performance are in the video player at the top of the page, and in them Banks shows great lower body strength, quick feet, balance and an ability to change directions when a defensive lineman switches his point of attack.

Banks is strong with his initial punch, he shoots his hands quickly and his placement is on point as he often stops the pass rusher with his strength and technique.
