Little Rock (Ark.) Robinson 2018 three-star receiver Nathan Page has picked up offers from Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech, and ULM and should continue to get offers in the coming weeks and months before National Signing Day.
Page planned to visit Mississippi State this weekend. The Bulldogs' coaching staff has been in touch with Page for some time, said the 5-foot-11, 180-pound playmaker.
"About a year now," Page said. "Rod Gibson and John Hevesy came out in the spring (to watch practice).
"They said they just want to get me on campus and around the coaches and verify my size for an offer."
Page has garnered interest on both sides of the ball as he's a two-way standout for Little Rock Robinson.
"They like me on both sides," Page said of Mississippi State, "but I think more as a slot."
That makes plenty of sense considering the production Page enjoyed as a junior in 2016, when he caught 45 passes for 1,118 yards and 14 touchdowns on a whopping 24.8 yards per reception. He also ran four times for 60 yards.
On defense, where Page can move around the secondary, he finished his junior season with 47 tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions, and four pass breakups.
"I've never been to Starkville," Page said, "so I'm just looking forward to getting to be around the coaches and the campus and see if it's a fit for me."
In addition to Mississippi State, Page said he plans to visit Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, and possibly more schools.
"Georgia has been showing more and more interest," Page said. "I plan on getting out there in July."
