Riverside (Calif.) Carnegie linebacker Francis Bemiy is closing in on his first offer.
Bemiy, who moved to Southern California from Montreal to play last fall, has had a number of schools check him out.
Bemiy has visited USC this spring and also camped at UCLA and has seen a couple of other schools.
"I have gone too USC three times on unofficial visits and I had the opportunity to drive past and look at Fresno State as well as UNLV on random occasions," said Bemiy.
He plans to visit a few more.
"I plan on taking visits to UCLA, Wyoming, Boise State, San Jose State and others," said Bemiy.
Bemiy took a brief tour of UCLA after their Skills Camp earlier this month.
"The camp was great and it helped me get a lot of exposure and meet new coaches," said Bemiy. "The visit of the UCLA campus was great because I got a chance to see their athletic facilities."
Bemiy is 6-4, 215, so linebacker has been the prominent position he's hearing about.
"Most schools are recruiting me to play outside linebacker and some are talking to me about playing defensive end," said Bemiy.
This weekend, Bemiy will camp at USC for their Rising Stars Camp on June 25.
He also plans to hit some schools close to his Montreal home.
