Analysis: Indiana commit Nick Marozas

Indiana just landed a commitment from Chicago Brother Rice offensive lineman Nick Marozas. Scout gives their take here.

Scouting Report:
From a measureables standpoint, we see Nick MarozasIndiana's newest commitment, as likely a guard in college even though he plays tackle in high school. He measured 6-foot-4, 272 pounds at the NIKE Opening Regional in Chicago. He is a kid who finishes his blocks well. He shows good feet in pass protection and solid quickness off the ball. He is a tough kid who plays to the whistle and looks to play a physical style of football. We see room for improvement in overall bend and he can still add more strength, although he maximizes his strength now at the high school level because of the physical nature of his game.

Marozas is a good, classic Midwest lineman and just the type of guy Indiana has had success with recently. Jason Spriggs and Dan Feeney were both 3-star, developmental type Midwestern offensive linemen who became early round NFL picks. Marozas comes from a good program, plays the game the right way and may give the Hoosiers some options as far as being able to play different line spots.
