Position: Running Back

Scouting Report:

Norwood, a fast-rising recruit, is not a blazer in the offensive backfield, but does a nice job of finding his crease and accelerating down the field. He also shows decent vision by changing up speeds to gain the advantage over defenders. Norwood has to work on his explosiveness, but plays to his strengths.

Norwood is also a tough kid who does not shy away from lowering his shoulder and playing with physicality. He is more of a crafty back who prefers to stop on a dime and make defenders miss, but shows off his toughness when playing on the goal line. Suddenness is a big part of Norwood's game.

The rising senior checks in with soft hands out of the backfield, but has had limited opportunities to show off that part of his game. In short areas of space, Norwood shows the ability to weave in and out of traffic by utilizing his quickness, but gets going after breaking through the second level.

Norwood is somewhat limited in regards to his explosiveness and size, but is a competitive kid who really gives it his all until the whistle is blown. Residing in South Florida, Norwood also plays against top-notch competition, so you have to take notice of that as well.
