Previewing This Weekend's Adidas Texas 7-on-7 State Championships

Scout previews the Adidas Texas 7-on-7 Championships, which are Thursday through Saturday at Veterans Memorial Park in College Station.

The above video features junior-season highlights of 2018 four-star running back Keaontay Ingram, who's committed to Texas. Ingram's Carthage squad will compete in the Division II bracket of the Adidas Texas 7-on-7 Championships.

The 2017 Adidas Texas 7-on-7 Championships kick off Thursday afternoon with Division II pool play. Schools in Classes 2A, 3A, and 4A compete in Division II, which holds its championship bracket and consolation bracket competitions Friday morning.

The Division I event, which features schools in Class 5A and 6A (as well as a few private schools), starts Friday afternoon with pool play. Championship bracket and consolation bracket action is Saturday morning, culminating in Saturday afternoon's championship.

All games are held at Veterans Park in College Station, Texas.
