Labeled as the 55th-ranked receiver in the South, Green is a rising senior at Rockledge (Fla.) High who had been waiting on this game-changing opportunity since strapping up the pads as a youngster.
Ohio State, Oregon, Georgia, North Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee and South Carolina are some of the additional programs that have went all in with scholarship offers for the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Green.
"I chose FSU because overall, they're a great school," Green said. "Growing up as a kid, I always wanted to be a 'Nole. Watching Kelvin Benjamin in 2013 opened up my eyes, and I want to be developed as a great athlete by great coaches.
"While I was on campus, it just felt like home and I knew that FSU is where I would want to further my education and athletic career."
Green is still in the midst of constructing tight-knit relationships with those donned in the garnet and gold, but says everything to this point has been music to his ears.
"My relationship is great with the coaching staff, especially with (offensive line) coach (Rick) Trickett," Green said. "He is very excited about my commitment, and they can't wait to get me on campus."
Green, who is also tagged as the 21st-ranked receiver in the Sunshine State, is commitment No. 12 in Jimbo Fisher's 2018 recruiting haul.
As always, stay tuned to Scout.
