Palaie Gaoteote remains steadily committed to USC and the No. 1-rated linebacker in the 2018 class told Scout.com at The Opening Finals he doesn't see that changing unless something crazy happens in Los Angeles this coming season.
The five-star prospect from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman does intend to take some official visits during the season, particularly since he's got a younger brother that is kicking off the recruiting process and he hopes to build bridges for him. Gaoteote said Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon and UCLA are possible visit destinations, but he is as solid as ever with the Trojans and has even been working to recruit the likes of Solomon Tuliaupupu and Merlin Robertson to join him in the cardinal and gold.
