Scout 100 Penn State OT commit Nana Asiedu recaps Lasch Bash

Stafford (Va.) North Stafford offensive tackle and Penn State commit Nana Asiedu spent time at his future home Saturday and spoke with Scout about his visit.

Nana Asiedu was at Penn State for its annual Lasch Bash Saturday.

The North Stafford standout enjoyed the trip.

"Lash Basch was great and I had tons of fun," said the 6-foot-6, 270-pound Asiedu. "I hung out with the commits and recruits and played lots of games. My favorite part was welcoming the guys who committed on Saturday to the family.

"It was also awesome being a commit at the event because everyone knows you -- even the current players on the team. I'm just so comfortable around everyone. We were recruiting Rasheed WalkerTyreke SmithDaniel George and Aeneas Hawkins, too."

Asiedu was able to speak with multiple coaches.

"I spent the most time with (James) Franklin and (running backs) coach (Charles) Huff," Asiedu said. "My relationship with them is real strong and I love being around them."

The Scout 100 offensive tackle also had a great one-on-one conversation with Franklin.

"We talked for a while," Asiedu said. "He was just telling me to keep working hard and focus on school. Our relationship is great and I'm excited to play for him."

Asiedu said his next trip to Penn State will likely be his official visit and he is in the process of setting a date.
