Cuse and Michigan State still battling for Jackman

According to Freeport Head Football coach Russ Cellan the same two schools lead for his star player Leslie Jackman.

"It's still between Syracuse and Michigan State, nothing has really changed since April. Rutgers has offered recently but I think Leslie is primarily interested those two schools."

Coach Cellan went on two say that Leslie won't make a decision until December and wants to take official visits to at least Syracuse and Michigan State before he makes a decision.

"It's really a toss up between Syracuse and Michigan State, I don't think he really knows yet, but he wants to concentrate on winning another Long Island football championship and then decide."

So far he has led his Freeport team to a 2-0 record. Jackman has rushed for 221 yards and 2 TD's on 20 carries. He also has caught three touchdown passes in two games.
