"We finished 2-8 and that didn't help any," Rich said. "I ended up with about 900 yards and six touchdowns so I did OK but it could have been better."
Rich, 5-9 and 180 pounds, said he has a style that makes him different than a lot of other top backs.
"My vision and speed and style is what separates me," he said. "I think those things help me out on the field."
The talented running back, a full academic qualifier, has a good idea where his five visits will go.
"Right now it's looking like it'll be North Carolina, NC State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Auburn," he said. "Those teams all have good running games and running backs do well. I also like Miami but I'm not sure about them right now."
Rich has spoken to UM coaches this season but he says he's losing interest.
"I liked Miami a lot early but then I found out they're only taking one back and it's probably gonna be Antone Smith so I don't think they're gonna take anyone else," he said. "Besides, I think I'm No. 4 on their list. Maybe that does (include fullbacks) but I don't see it as a realistic possibility."
