Though Anderson felt he did well, he didn't receive an offer while on campus. "I did pretty good," he said. "I didn't get an offer but I think I did decent."
Anderson, who currently has offers from the two in-state schools, South Carolina and Clemson, along with West Virginia, currently has two schools sitting at the top of his list. "Right now it's [South] Carolina and Clemson," he said.
Though those two schools stick out and Anderson hopes to make a decision on the school of his choice by the end of this month, an offer from Virginia Tech would make the decision harder on the Palmetto State offensive lineman. "Virginia Tech offering, that would change my decision a bit," he said. "They have a great engineering program and that's what I'm looking for plus they have a great football program."
While Tech is hoping to see a few games of his senior season before deciding on an offer, Anderson is currently working to improve for that senior campaign. "[I'm working on] a lot of things," Anderson said. "I've progressed this summer [in my move from] right tackle to left tackle. I've progressed in pass blocking but I'm working on moving to the other tackle…Our school lifts twice a week but I'm doing about five workouts a week."
