De'Von Bailey: Adding Another into the Mix

3 star wide receiver/cornerback De'Von Bailey is a play maker on the field. Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Oklahoma State, and Wyoming have all offered scholarships. As National Letter of Intent Day approaches, has De'Von found a new interest? Come inside as RaiderPower catches up with De'Von and talks about his recruitment and what he needs to find in a school to commit.

De'Von Bailey , when discussing the schools that are currently recruiting him, let RaiderPower know that SMU has become a factor. "They are recruiting me real tough. I go there for a visit this weekend and see how things are up there."

When Bailey was asked about a time table for his commitment to a school he said that "It will be on National Signing Day. That's when I will come out and make my decision known."

The thing that affects De'Von's decision the most when deciding which school to commit to is "the people. If I'm going to spend the next 4 or 5 years in my life somewhere I have to like the people. The PT (Playing time) is important but I don't want to walk in and them be like ‘You've got the job.' I just want the opportunity to compete when I get there."

The one more interesting portion of De'Von's recruitment is that he is being recruited to play primarily receiver but he feels like he would be best as a "cornerback. Not even a corner back but just somewhere in the secondary. I am being recruited mostly as a wideout but anywhere in the secondary."

RaiderPower will keep your up to date as more information comes available.
