The latest with Stefoin Francois

Reserve-East Saint John, (Louis.) Stefoin Francois did not take his official visit to the University of Tennessee this weekend due to some sore ribs, but will reschedule the visit for a future date. Francois has already visited LSU and Arkansas. The yet to be determined Tennessee date and a visit to Florida State is all that is currently on his calendar.

Stefoin Francois has one more visit, and several schools will vie for a chance including the new University of Alabama staff. Francois said with what sounded as indifference, "They are a possibility."

At one time, it was believed the 6-0, 190-pound star was leaning towards the LSU Tigers, but today Francois tells us, "I'm not leaning any particular way."

Coach Larry Porter is the recruiting contact from LSU and stays in touch with Francois, and Florida State will make an in-home visit to the versatile defensive talent Monday.

During the offseason Francois tells us, "I'll just be working out and trying to get stronger and stuff. I would like to work on my overall game. Everything can be worked on."

The Louisiana Sports Writers' Association voted Francois All-State at the defensive back position.

"Our team went 12-1, undefeated in the regular season and lost in the third round of the playoffs," he said.

Francois doesn't seem in a hurry to make his decision.
