Rice signs sleeper TE

A player that came to the Scout.com combine in Waco and had a good performance was Missouri City, Texas tight end Keyshawn Carrington. He remained a sleeper throughout te year, but local school Rice snagged him up.

A player that came to the Scout.com combine in Waco and had a good performance was Missouri City, Texas tight end Keyshawn Carrington. He remained a sleeper throughout te year, but local school Rice snagged him up.

"I chose Rice because it is a great school," Carrington said. "It's close to home so my family can come and see me play and everything."

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Carrington played left tackle for his high school team, but will get looks at guard and tight end in college.
