"I love it at safety," Wylie said. "I can hit, I can cover, do whatever. I can even play some corner."
Wylie, 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, has been working hard preparing for spring football.
"I've been in the weight room a lot," he said. "I went from 175 to 192. Our team looks real good. We just got Chris Anderson from Hills and that'll really help the running game. This is the best team we've had at BA since I've been here."
After picking up an early written offer from Ole Miss, Wylie said his coaches havent been letting him know of his recent offers.
"They don't want me to get big-headed or anything like that," he said. "They want me focused on my senior season and not really on the recruiting stuff. I have some other ones but I just don't know who they are."
Wylie knows where one of his offers is from and it just came recently.
"Miami offered me recently," he said. "I was real happy about that one. I love Miami. I've been there three times already for unofficial visits. I went down for the spring game and they're lookikng good. I've talked to Patrick Johnson and Brandon Washington about going there. My parents both went to UM and I'm very interested in them."
Another school Wylie's very interested in is the University of Florida.
"I think an offer is coming in the mail anytime now," he said. "Me and Kevin Claxton went up there for Junior Day. We had a great time. The coaches are cool, the facilities are nice, and they're on top so a lot of people want to go there."
When asked for a current top five, Wylie wasn't even sure he could do one.
"I really can't say," he said. "It depends who's gonna offer. I'm going back down to UM this Sunday to check things out. I'm gonna meet with Randy Shannon, see the players working out, and things like that."
Wylie, who also plays basketball at BA, currently has a 3.4 GPA and will test for the first time next month.
