Dominique Battle Says Commitment Is Solid

Dominique Battle recently took an unofficial visit to the University of Miami, but the Florida cornerback maintains his verbal commitment to the Bearcats is still solid.

When calling Dominique Battle to check up on his recent progress this season, the conversation led to an unofficial visit he took to the University of Miami during the first week of the season. The American Heritage School two-way player said he was recently misquoted in an article, and his verbal commitment to the University of Cincinnati is as solid as the day it was given. Battle stated, "My commitment to Cincinnati is a strong verbal. I spoke with Coach Coombs tonight."

The Delray Beach, Florida resident plans to take his official visit to Cincinnati's campus on October 13 when the Bearcats play Louisville. He has no other scheduled visits.

Dominique said he was misquoted in another story about his interest in attending the University of Miami.

So far this season, Dominique said he had 7 receptions for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns in two victories. Defensively, he said he hadn't seen much action. "No one is throwing my way." Dominique is being recruited as a cornerback by the University of Cincinnati.
