Recruiting: Bushell Says OSU Moves To No. 1

Adrian Bushell of DeSoto, Texas, is an interesting story. He moved into play for the Eagles from Florida where he was already considered a top prospect and he did nothing to discourage that with his season at DeSoto. This weekend he made the first of three scheduled visits - this one to Oklahoma State. We spoke with Bushell while he was waiting on a delayed flight at the airport in Oklahoma City.

"Yeah, I have time. My flight has been delayed again," said Bushell, who was experiencing delays like many of the prospects in the Midwest trying to return home from official visits.

"OSU went real good, it was real nice. The facilities that are there and the ones they are building are really nice. It was good meeting everybody and really just finding out how things are there. I think I got a good feel for everybody," Bushell said.

Bushell has had a lot of schools recruiting him and he said he has two more visits scheduled - one next weekend at Louisville and then another in January to Florida.

So, how did he leave it this weekend with the coaching staff at Oklahoma State?

"I left with them on the top of my list," said the 5-11, 180-pounder that has documented 4.4 speed in the 40-yard dash. "Right now they are my top school, but I am going to see what some of those other schools have."

Bushell added that he has a good relationship with his recruiting coach at Oklahoma State which is assistant head coach Curtis Luper.
