"I want to take several trips and especially want to get up to see Brown and Pennsylvania as well," Bademosi said. "I probably won't be making a decision until near Signing Day. For me it's gonna come down to the little things like how I feel on the campus and how I get along with the players and coaches. Stuff like that."
He says that Syracuse is recruiting him the hardest and that he really enjoyed his visit. "They have great facilities there," he said. "I love the new indoor practice field and I also really felt comfortable with all the players.
"I really like (safety coach) Scott Spencer," he said. "We had a film session and he showed me how I'd fit in and the style of defense that they run. It was really great to have a one-on-one with him and I felt like I learned a lot. If in 45 minutes I felt like I was learning from him, imagine what I could learn in four years."
Bademosi is also impressed with Syracuse's academics as well. "I love their communications program," he said. "I don't really have a favorite right now, but I did really like my Syracuse visit."
He visits Stanford on Jan. 11. "Stanford is one of those schools that has it all," he said. "They have amazing academics, but good football tradition too and I think they are on their way up again. I can't wait to take my visit and see what it's like. It's a little far, but that's not going to be a deciding factor."
With a 3.6 core GPA and a 1700 SAT, academics are a priority for Bademosi and that's why he's also strongly considering the Ivy Leagues. "I love the Ivy League schools and the education you get there is outstanding," he said. "I know the level of football is different and that's something I'm considering too."
Bademosi has offers from Syracuse and Stanford and used to have an offer from Illinois, but hasn't heard from the Illini lately. "I've moved on," he said.
While the Illini have stopped showing him attention, Maryland is the latest school to start recruiting him. "They said they've got a safety graduating and that they may have an offer for me," he said. "They've been recruiting me more and more recently."
