"I see no drawbacks in Ole Miss," said Jordan Free, a 6-3, 285-pound center prospect out of Baton Rouge who visited Ole Miss over the weekend.
"The facilities are fantastic, the FedEx Academic Center is top notch. The staff is great - they are very down-to-earth people," Free noted. "I was totally impressed."
Free said he did not commit to the Rebels but they were his "definite leader" right now.
"I have a visit set up for Tulane next weekend and then I will probably decide Sunday where I will go," Free said. "Coach (Houston) Nutt was real good about it in our talk. He offered me before I got here and said I will have an offer on the table through my last visit.
"Iw as not pressured to do anything, but he let me know my offer is good."
Free has already visited TCU.
"Their staff was really good too, but their facilities are not nearly as nice," he added. "Overall, though, it's a good school."
Academics are important to Jordan, who is considering studying medicine in college.
"All three schools I am considering have great academics," he said. "I am going to study some field of medicine, I think, and all three have good programs in medicine."
