Damaris Johnson tripped to Louisiana this past weekend with teammate Chris Richard, so what did the highly sought after athlete think of the Ragin'Cajun Football program?
"I had a really good visit at ULL; the coaches were very understandable and didn't push really hard. When I visited with coach Bustle he was the same, he didn't push and he told me that I'm the number one receiver on their board. To be with you, I wasn't sure that I was even going to visit ULL, but I'm glad that I did."
What did Johnson think of the tour of campus and football facilities?
"We toured the football facilities and around the campus. They showed us the indoor practice facility and, the plans on the new field turf and weight room. After dinner we went to the basketball game and stay to the end."
Did Johnson enjoy the basketball game and atmosphere?
"The crowd got a little loud at times, but it certainly fired the team up at the end. We stayed to watch to game until the end when they came back. The Cajuns have a young group that will be really good in the future."
Damaris has now visited Louisiana Tech and Louisiana, what does he think of the two programs?
"They are about the same, when it comes to athletics and education. Louisiana Tech is more of a rural campus, were as ULL has more things to do around campus. Not that it is a bad thing, but that is one major difference between the two campuses."
So what is next for the speedy wide receiver?
I'm scheduled for Memphis next week and then I'm either tripping to Mississippi State or TCU the week after.
