Recruiting coach: "Coach [Bill] Young was my recruiter, and he's a real good guy. We talk about a lot of different things. I spent a lot of time with him on my visit, and I like him a lot."
Expect to redshirt?: "This off-season, I want to work hard and get prepared for college. I want to go in prepared, so I don't have to redshirt. But if I'm not ready, I know that I'll redshirt. That will only help me get stronger and faster."
Why KU?: "I visited several of the in-state colleges in Oklahoma. I also went to Northwestern, but when I visited Kansas everything was different. The atmosphere was different, and I liked it. I really liked the coaches and players, and I felt like Kansas was a good fit for me."
