He plays both tight end and defensive end for Quince Orchard High School, but from what recruiting coordinators are telling him he'll be lining up on the offensive side of the ball when he hits the collegiate ranks.

Cody Magill, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound two-way lineman from Quince Orchard High School has already been given a verbal offer from West Virginia, but needs to take a trip to Morgantown to seal the deal and get it in writing. Other then that he has been hearing from a number of other programs as well.

"West Virginia wants me to come and work out for them personally on March 15th after I watch the spring game, so I'll be going down there," Magill said. "Right now I have a verbal offer from them and they said my performance there will determine if they put it in writing or not. I like them a lot and just spoke to the defensive coordinator on Wednesday. I also know a few kids that go there and they speak highly of the school."

"I also have a good friend, Adam Masters, going to Connecticut and I have heard that the facilities are really nice," Magill explained. "They are definitely one of my top schools right now and I just want to get up there and see it for myself."

"Other then that I have had visits from Head Coach Greg Schiano from Rutgers, Penn State has been in and so was Syracuse," Magill stated. "They all bring a lot to the table obviously. I also hear from Maryland and Boston College right now."

As a junior, Magill caught eight passes for two touchdowns and added 45 tackles, 12 sacks, eight pass deflections and recovered four fumbles on defense.
