"It was good trip," said Fletcher. "I got to talk to the coaches and here how their system works. They just told me how everything would go if I decided to go there."
As with many prospects, Cox enjoyed getting to talk to college coaches about his future.
"Coach Charlie Harbison is my recruiting coach," said Cox. "He's a real nice coach. He keeps up with me and checks up on me. He asks me what I think about Mississippi State and things like that. It's a good school. It's in the SEC and I really want to play for an SEC school."
Fletcher was one of several prospects on the MSU campus this weekend on unofficial visits. Cox reports the group had a good time.
"We sat down and ate and got to hear the coaches talk," said Fletcher. "It was good to hear a lot of that. I got to hear about how things work there. I got to meet with Coach Croom in his office while I was there."
One of the highlights of the day was attending the Basketball Bulldogs win over the Arkansas Razorbacks.
"We got to go to the basketball game," said the talented defensive end. "It was a good game between two really good teams. You had the number one and the number two teams playing. The crowd was going crazy at the end. It was a really good crowd. I liked it."
