Georgia Tight End Receives First SEC Offer

Phillip Lutzenkirchen, tight end from Marietta-Lassiter, (Ga.), received his first offer from Troy, and he picked up his another offer Thursday from the SEC.



"I received an offer from Mississippi State today," Philip Lutzenkirchen informed Scout.com. "It was great to receive the offer. It's my first SEC offer from a program that is starting to turn itself around."

"It's real exciting to receive the offer. Hopefully more to come."

Lutzenkirchen recorded 46 receptions for 497 yards and seven touchdowns during his junior season. He recorded 49 tackles, one interception, three pass deflections, a blocked punt and one touchdown on defense. He was named first team All-County.
