DeShane Adds Two Big Offers

Tulsa Union offensive lineman Brian DeShane made an early commitment to play for Tulsa, but that did not stop Kansas and Texas A&M from stepping up to the plate and offering him a scholarship this afternoon.

From a technicians stand point Brian DeShane may be the most advanced offensive lineman in the state of Okla.

He would quickly attribute a lot of his success on the gridiron to Union line coach Mark Garner and current Notre Dame lineman Matt Romine, who took him under his wing in his senior season at Union High.

Former legendary Union coach Bill Blankenship is now an assistant coach at Tulsa and his relationship with the 6-foot-4, 285-pound road grader played a huge role with his decision to end the process early and commit to the Golden Hurricane.

This afternoon DeShane received some big-time news that Texas A&M and Kansas have both extended him scholarship offers to play at their universities. Although he is blown away by the attention and honored by the scholarhip offers he re-affirmed his commitment to sign with Tulsa.
