First Trip for Ohio Athlete

As schools begin hosting junior day events more and more names will begin to surface on the class of 2009 radar. One Ohio defensive back checked into today after his first unofficial visit.

Mentor (Ohio) Lake Catholic cornerback Randy Greenwood has been hearing from the likes of Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Iowa and Miami (Ohio). He eventually plans on visiting all of the schools that are showing interest in him, today he visited Pittsburgh.

"It was pretty good, I liked it," Greenwood said. "They have really nice facilities and the coaches are very nice. They want me to come to camp, so they can evalutae me a little better."

Greenwood, a 5-10.5 and 176-poind, cornerback has already lined up lans for more visits.

"I'm going to Ohio State on March 9, but I'm not sure if it is a junior day or just an unofficial visit," Greenwood stated. "I'm going to Iowa on March 30 and Miami (Ohio) on April 20."
