Quinton Dial Adds Two SEC Offers

One of the top prospects in Alabama for 2009 is 6-5, 309 pound Quinton Dial from Clay-Chalkville High School in Clay,(Ala.). The monster defensive lineman has picked up two big SEC offers in the last week. He talked about his top schools and two Junior Day trips to Alabama and Auburn.

"I just got an offer from Alabama," Quinton Dial said. "It was cool. I mean words can't explain it."

Dial went on to talk about what he likes about the Tide, "I like the people, the atmosphere, academics and the coaching staff. I will be visiting there again March 8 for Junior Day."

"I visited their last Junior Day, and it was good. We watched the basketball game against LSU."

Coach Nick Saban and the Alabama staff just reeled in the number one recruiting class in the nation for the class of 2008. It has not gone unnoticed by Alabama targets for the class of 2009.

"I thought that was great for Alabama. Nick Saban has a plan, and he will follow through with it," Dial said.

Another team hot on the heels of Dial is the Auburn Tigers. The massive linemen tripped there a few weeks ago for their Junior Day as well.

"It was nice," Dial said of the unofficial visit. "Their weight room is pretty small though. I thought it would be bigger. But the trip was good."

Dial also picked up an offer from the Florida Gators and said he plans to visit Gainesville as well.

"It is nice to have that offer. I am going to get down there for a visit in a few weeks," he said.

Dial is not claiming any favorites, but a few teams have his attention. He also talked about what his final decision will come down to.

"How the people treat me, the atmosphere and most important-the academics. Alabama, Auburn and Florida are at the top right now. I do not have a favorite," he said.
