Safety Now Being Recruited By Hoosiers

The Indiana Hoosiers are now showing interest in a prospect right in their own backyard. Who is this prospect? We've got the latest.

Will Saddler may have only played in six games as a junior, but that hasn’t stopped college programs from taking notice of his physical size and athletic ability.  At 6-foot-5, 220-pounds Saddler who plays safety is a freakish athlete with great potential to do many things at the next level.  While we come across many athletes with his physical numbers, it’s the speed he plays the game at that makes him a player to keep an eye on.

“I’ve been timed in the forty at 4.5,” Said Saddler about his speed for a player his size.  Several college coaches have told me they’ve been pretty impressed with what they’ve seen and feel I have a lot to offer them.”

The latest program to show interest in Saddler is one just down the road from where he lives.

This week saw Indiana head coach Bill Lynch to be the latest admirer sending an email message for Will to contact them and set up a visit during the spring for a practice and to talk with the coaching staff.

With an offer in hand from Cincinnati and Vanderbilt and Northwestern in hot pursuit the Hoosiers will not be the last to show interest in the safety from Columbus East High School (Indiana).
