"My back was against the wall," Yeager said of his decision. "Everyone who was involved knows why I left. I had to do what was best for me."
Yeager currently holds offers from Akron, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Richmond and Ohio. He has also received heavy interest from Illinois and Pittsburgh. The nation's 84th ranked quarterback is heading North this weekend and could make a decision.
"I'm going to visit Central Michigan this weekend and if all goes as planned I might make my decision," Yeager stated. "I really like the offensive scheme that they run and I feel that my style of play fits in very well there."
Yeager displayed a very powerful right arm at the combine. The talented youngster threw for more than 1,500 yards and close to 20 touchdowns as a junior.
