"I had a great time," Gordon says. "I like the school. The game was crazy and the fans. I liked it up there. I could see myself there.
"I could say they're my top right now," he adds, "but things might change if I take other visits so I don't know. I'm not taking anymore until after football season."
Asked what he was looking for in a school, Gordon responds, "Atmosphere, and they have it. I love the atmosphere around here. And I just want to get on the field and play."
On a scale of one to 10, Gordon gives the visit, "An eight or nine. (Saturday) night I got sick so I couldn't go out. I just stayed in the hotel last night. It would have probably been a 10 if I was able to go out last night.
"It was a little more than I expected," he says of the overall visit. "I liked it. I enjoyed it a lot.
"We got here Friday and took a tour of the school," Gordon continues. "We went over academics and everything. There was a lot that we got to see–all the facilities, the weight room and all of that stuff."
Even though Auburn lost the game to LSU, Gordon notes that it was one of the best parts of the visit. "The game, the fans and walking down the Tiger Walk everyone knew me already and were calling out my name," he jokes. "It was a good game. The second half defense-wise Auburn started arm-tackling and stuff. But it was a good game."
Gordon's player host was Philip Pierre-Louis. He also got to spend some time with linebackers coach James Willis.
"(Philip) likes the school and I told him I like it, too," Gordon explains. "We're from the same place. He said you get used to it quick. (Willis) says he likes my film and he likes the leadership I have. He likes that at the mike linebacker spot and that's why they're recruiting me."
