"It was pretty good," Custis said of his visit, "I wish [Wisconsin] had won, but they had a solid game, they played good defense."
The 6'5, 220-lb Custis was hosted by sophomore cornerback Aaron Henry and had a chance to take in the sights and sounds around Madison.
"It was my first time there," he explained, "it was a nice, college town. A lot of people there are tied in with football, I guess you can say it had that football feel."
Custis also had a chance to catch up with the coaching staff, saying, "I was talking to defensive line coach (Charles Partridge) and Coach Bielema about what I think about the school and what they have to offer me if I went there."
A few weeks back, Custis had reported he was down to five or six schools, but has now officially cut down to five as Indiana was taken off his list, leaving Boston College, Northwestern, Notre Dame and Stanford.
He says he will continue to take visits and learn about these programs in the following weeks and plans to take a visit to Northwestern within the next two weeks as he comes closer to a commitment.
"I'm going to make my decision after Christmas," he said.
And with that, one lucky college will get a late holiday gift.
