"UTEP offered Greg," said Citrus Hill coach Doug Dubois.
The Miners join Fresno State in offering Smith, who's starting to make a name for himself. This year, Smith has 17 receptions for 358 yards and six touchdowns. Last year, he had 11 sacks as a defensive end.
Playing into UTEP's favor is Jamie Irving, a freshman linebacker for the Miners who was a teammate and is a close friend of Smith.
