Edenfield made the list last week for his offensive performance. He led the Trojans in a 10-0 win over Eufaula this week collecting two interceptions in the second half. The win assured Charles Henderson of a home game to start the playoffs.
Charles Henderson will host 6A Northview 4-5 (3-4) this week. They will host a resurgent Citronelle team 5-4 (4-3) in the first round of the playoffs.
5-11, 160 pounds
4A Deshler 6-3 (5-2)
Deshler defeated region rival Brooks 28-7, but lost their championship when forced to forfeit two games of the season. The senior signal caller masterfully led his offense while under heavy pressure completing 16-of-21 passing attempts for 188 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for a 15-yard touchdown.
Deshler will travel to play 5A J.O. Johnson 3-6 (3-4) before taking on Plainview 6-3 (5-2) in the first round of the playoffs.

4A Munford 0-9 (0-7) *after forfeits
Parker, Mosley and company nearly pulled off the upset against Lincoln (24-22). In the effort, Parker had 15 carries for 107 yards while Mosley rushed for 168 yards on 21 carries.
Munford will host 4A Oak Grove 3-5 (1-5) this week in their last game of the season.
5-10, 185 pounds

6A Florence 6-3 (5-3)
Southward rushed for 117 yards on 22 carries in a 27-7 win over 5A Briarwood Christian last week.
The Falcons played great football this year, but just failed to make the playoffs. They will travel to 6A Minor 7-2 (5-2) for their last game of the season.
5-8, 175 pounds

5A Valley 8-1 (7-0)
Valley sealed up their undefeated region championship with an impressive 27-0 win over Tallassee. Walker rushed for 134 yards on 20 carries to lead the running back group of senior Kenorio Warren (64 yards), junior Jamarcus Darden (55 yards) and junior Richard Hopkins (41 yards).
Valley will finish their season with a tough 6A game against Smiths Station 6-3 (4-3). The Rams will take on Gulf Shores 6-3 (4-3) in the first round of the playoffs.
5-11, 175 pounds
6A Mountain Brook 8-1 (7-1)
When running back J.D. Marsh went out with an ankle injury Golsan filled in nicely. The senior led the Patriots to a 49-34 victory in an offensive shootout. He rushed for 202 yards and scored on touchdown runs of 54 and 53 yards. He passed for 212 yards and two touchdowns of 50 and eight yards.
Mountain Brook will face 5A Carver Birmingham 0-9 (0-7) this week before hosting Hillcrest Tuscaloosa 7-2 (5-2) in the first round of the playoffs next week.
6-1, 200 pounds
5A Cullman 7-2 (7-1)
Caldwell put the ball up an incredible 60 times against Mountain Brook with 41 hitting their mark. He racked up 346 yards and scored a touchdown in the loss.
Cullman will face playoff bound 6A Austin 5-4 (5-3) this week before hosting Parker (4-5) (3-4) in the first round of the playoffs.
5-10, 150 pounds

5A Russellville 8-1 (6-1)
The senior receiver set a school record with 181 yards in receptions. He caught nine passes and scored a touchdown in the 35-20 win over region rival Athens. McAlister made five tackles on defense with one falling for a loss. He also returned an interception for a 70-yard touchdown.
The Golden Tigers will face 3A Colbert County 7-2 (7-1) who sits atop their region in a three-way tie for first place. Russellville will face a tough first round playoff opponent in Fort Payne 7-2 (5-2).

5A Central Tuscaloosa 8-0 (7-0)
Logan carried the ball 12 times for 136 yards and two touchdowns in the 36-18 win over region opponent Woodlawn. The Falcons have not lost a game since 2006.
Edwards, a 2007 All-State selection, broke up two passes and made five tackles defensively. He caught three passes for 95 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
Central Tuscaloosa faces a mighty task to keep the win streak in tact when they face 6A power Prattville 7-1 (7-0). The Lions haven't lost an in-state game since 2005, their only loss coming in the Herbstreit Classic in Ohio earlier this season. Both teams are reigning champions from last season.
The Falcons will host Pleasant Grove 5-4 (5-3) in the first round of the playoffs.

6A Gadsden City 5-4 (4-3)
The highly recruited Kirkpatrick had eight tackles, and an interception against Clay-Chalkville. He also returned a kickoff for an 86-yard touchdown in the 28-12 win.
Smith has been solid for the Titans this season and carried the ball 21 times for 125 yards and a touchdown.
Gadsden City will face 5A Fort Payne 7-2 (5-2) this week. They are in a three-way tie in their region for playoff spots.

4A Alabama Christian 5-4 (3-4)
Moss carried the ball for Coach Kenny Simpson's Eagles 27 times against Bullock County. He totaled 210 yards and five touchdowns in the 40-14 victory. Moss has 1,198 yards on the season with 13 touchdowns.
Mayes had another great week with seven tackles, two sacks, three quarterback hurries and one tipped pass. The speedy sophomore sports a 4.78 40 time.
Alabama Christian will face 3A Montgomery Academy 5-4 (4-3) this week.

6A Blount 5-4 (4-3)
The Leopards pulled off a mighty big win scoring with two seconds remaining and making a two-point conversion to defeat Williamson 21-20. They took the last playoff spot knocking out Williamson.
Williams rushed for 137 yards on 17 carries. Davison completed 10-of-19 passing attempts for 126 yards and rushed for 76 yards on 10 carries scoring two touchdowns.
Evans shored up the defense with 14 tackles, two for a loss and two forced fumbles.
