Standout at combine sets 4 visits

Michael Hinton was one of the most impressive athletes at several camps this season, and he has set 4 of his 5 visits.

Michael Hinton was one of the most impressive athletes at the Nike Camp in Chapel Hill, NC last April. He has the frame of an outside linebacker, but then he ran drills with the corners. His 4.7 forty time on an cold outdoor track was disappointing to him, but he made up for it Monday at the Hargrave combine when he turned in consecutive 4.40 and 4.41 times indoors.

At 6-3 and close to 200 pounds, Hinton could be a free safety or even grow into an outside linebacker. He is strong at the line of scrimmage and turns well in coverage. After the combine on Monday, Hinton had set up four of his 5 official visits.

"I'm going to Virginia Tech this weekend (12-13)," said Hinton. "I'm also going to Louisville (1-10), Georgia (1-17), and NC State (1-24) for sure, and I may visit Florida State or Tennessee with my last visit. I'm still pretty much wide open right now."
