Some players are easy to notice when they take the gridiron. Even to the untrained eye, Kevin Norwood is hard to miss. After a disappointing loss in the state championship game, Norwood turns his focus to recruiting. Go inside to read more.

Kevin Norwood's season did not end the way he had planned.

"We came out sluggish in the beginning," added Kevin Norwood. "We should have scored a lot more points. The second half we came out slow as well. In the end we came up short."

Despite the difficult loss, Norwood has yet to play his last game. Recruiting season is in full swing and the #45 WR is ready.

"I'm ready to focus on recruiting. I have it narrowed down to Alabama, Ole Miss and Southern Miss."

What does the D'Iberville High standout like about each school?

Alabama - "I want to be part of a winning team. I've been up there several times and I like the coaches and the players. They have good facilities. They also have a good graduation rate. I have not set up a visit with them but I hope to in the future."

Southern Miss - "They are close to home and that's where my parents want me to go. There is only one thing about USM I don't like. I worry about Southern Miss playing in CUSA. I want to play in the SEC. Their coaches are coming by later this week. I will be gone to the MS/AL All-Star game. They are still going to come and meet with my parents. They are going to line up an official visit during that meeting."

Ole Miss - "Just like with Alabama, I want to play on a winning team. I think Ole Miss can give that to me. I've only seen some of their facilities but they were nice. I like their coaches a lot. In fact, the only coach to come to my home is Coach Dickerson. He told me a lot about Ole Miss an what Ole Miss had to offer. We set up an official visit (1/16)."
