Williams One Step Closer

Toney Williams, Four-Star RB out of Milton HS (GA), has had a rocky past few weeks. His initial school of choice (Tennessee) lost its head coach of more than a decade, creating an air of uncertainty. He has taken his official visits, with his most recent being at Kentucky, and now he has one more to go before making his final decision. Check inside for the latest on his trip and more...

"It went good and I had a good time," Toney Williams said. "I met some players on the team and met with the coaches, and we talked more in-depth."

Where do things stand after the trip?

"Right now, I am still committed to Tennessee," he shared. "And I am going up there this weekend for an official."

Were you able to meet with Coach Kiffin last week?

"Yes Sir," he said. "It went good and he is a great guy."

Is he somebody that you could play for?

"Yeah, he is."

Give me an idea of the big picture.

"I still like Tennessee," he said. "So I'm going to go up there and see how it goes on my final Official Visit."

Do you feel like you will know after this weekend?

"Yeah, I will"
