Dante Caro gets his 1st offer!!!

PrepNewMexico.com has learned that Las Cruces QB Dante Caro has received his 1st offer!!! Which school offered the talented Caro? Come inside and check it out.

PrepNewMexico.com was informed today that Las Cruces senior QB Dante Caro has been offered his first scholarship.  His mother tells us via email, "Dante got his first offer today from New Mexico State."

Dante Caro is one of the top overall players in the state.  At 6'1 185 he has good size and enough speed running in the 4.6 range.  Caro played QB for the Bulldogs the last couple of seasons and lead Las Cruces to the 5A state title this season.  As a QB he is a dual threat type that can beat you with both his arm and his legs.  Even though he has been one of the top QB's in New Mexico the last couple of seasons, he projects as more of a wide receiver or maybe even on defense as a safety.  Either way he is a very talented young man and has great potential.

At this point, Caro is the fourth player in the state with a D1 offer.  The others are Artesia LB Dallas Bollema, who has committed to play for the New Mexico Lobos.  Cibola offensive lineman Rio Mares and Caro's teammate RB James Hall Jr.

We will have an interview with Caro soon, getting his own personal thoughts about getting his first offer.

Stay tuned to PrepNewMexico.com all offseason long to get the vary latest recruiting information.
