Florida LB names favorite

Quan Fletcher is a three-star linebacker prospect from Miami (Fla.) Dr. Krop and Scout.com caught up with him to talk about the latest on the recruiting front.

"Everything's going good," Quan Fletcher said. "I've been talking to some coaches about taking more visits. I'm talking to FAU and Bethune Cookman a lot about it."

Fletcher, 6-foot-1 and 240 pounds, already visited one school and came away very impressed.

"I went to Purdue a few weeks ago when they played Indiana," he said. "It was a great game and I really liked it there. I liked the coaches, the players were cool, they have my major, and it's a good engineering school. I'm liking Purdue a lot right now. They're recruiting a lot of players from down here and I think that's gonna really help them in the future."

The talented linebacker prospect, who said he met with Purdue coaches at school earlier this week, has them at the top of his list.

"I plan on taking some other visits to see what's out there but I'd say Purdue is my favorite," he said. "We'll see how it goes."

Fletcher is getting ready to play in both the Dade County All-Star game on December 22 and the Dade/Broward All-Star game on January 16.
