UnderArmour Day Two: Team Black Offense Top 5

Five players stood out on offense for Team Black on Thursday at the UnderArmour All-America Game's second day of practice in Orlando...

QB Garrett Gilbert: Gilbert was the most effective and the most consistent on Thursday from the quarterbacks. He's got a live arm, is patient, and looks real polished. Gilbert didn't really try to force any throws and threw some pretty deep balls.

WR Duron Carter: Like his father "just caught touchdown passes", Carter just caught everything, save one drop. He does a good job getting behind the secondary but more than anything, wasn't afraid to go into traffic and battle with the defensive backs for the ball.

WR Jheranie Boyd: As Carter did, Boyd was more than willing to mix it up with defensive backs and linebackers, going over the middle numerous times to make the catch.

OT Mason Walters: Walters is a polished lineman, real fundamentally sound, with great feet and good knee bend and flexibility. He's physical and is quick off the ball. Does a good job with his hands.

RB Jarvis Giles: In a setting where running backs are often ignored, Giles makes it tough for the coaches to keep the ball out of his hands. He's quick out of the backfield, can take a hit and keep running and has good hands on passes.
