UA White Offense: Thursday's Top 5

Team White had its share of impressive performers on Thursday at practice. Here are five players who we believe turned in good performances on the offensive side of the ball for Team White.

Trent Richardson -- Especially for a player whose game is more suited to run between the tackles, Richardson had a strong day. He was able to catch some balls out of the backfield and make some things happen. Five-star Manti Te'o was unable to keep up with him on a few plays and Richardson showed off excellent speed in the open field. This five-star prospect is committed to Alabama but plans on also taking visits to LSU and Florida.

Alson Jeffrey had a strong day catching footballs from three quarerbacks who weren't having the best of days. He has ideal size and is tough to handle coming off the line of scrimmage. He made some really nice catches and showed off excellent skills during the entire practice. Jeffrey is currently a soft commitment to USC.

Jamal Reid may have been the most explosive receiver on the field for Team White today. During 1 on 1 drills, he was creating excellent separation because of it. He's fast enough to simply run by defenders but is still learning how to run the right routes and he has to get more physical coming off the line. Many project him to play corner in college. The four-star commiment to Miami was also the main kickoff return guy for Team White.

Xavier Su'a-Filo was the best offensive lineman for White today. He won pretty much all of his 1 on 1 drills and it didn't matter who the defender was or what he tried doing. He still has room to grow but he has all the tools you look for in a good RT prospect and showed it today and then some.

Kevin Graf is a huge left tackle prospect with a big wingspan. With his whole family on the sidelines today, Graf had a solid day. He struggled when seeing a good spin move or a straight speed rush at times but he held his own pretty well and when he gets his hands on you, forget about it. The five-star offensive tackle prospect is already committed to USC, where his father and brother played.
