A week removed from his visit to Mississippi State, Hamilton tripped to Southern Miss this weekend. "It went pretty good," said Billy of his official visit. "Justin Wilson was my host. He was a great guy. He went to my school, so I have known him a long time. I guess that's why they put him with me."

The former Tar Tars were able to spend some time together as Hamilton got to know the lay of the land of the Southern Miss campus.

"I got to see the Thad Cochran building, all of the dorms, the baseball facilities and the football facilities," said Billy. "Everything was real nice. I liked everything."

Hamilton has taken the only two official visits he plans to take. He expects to render a verdict on his college future in the immediate future.

"I am going to make my decision today or tomorrow," said the talented wide out. "I am going to decide between MSU and USM."

The Mississippi All-Star has found things he likes about both of his finalists.

"I like Southern Miss because it's close to home and they have a pretty good baseball program," said the two sport standout.

"I like Mississippi State because there in the SEC. I would get seen a lot more plus they have a great baseball program."

Billy's ability to further his career in both sports will be a big part of his decision making process, but the chance to play on the baseball diamond at the next level is going to be paramount in his mind.

"It's am mainly going to be picking because of baseball and then I am going to play football too," said Billy. "I am going to think about everything and then make my decision, but a lot of it's going to be based on baseball."
