Kyle Griswould enjoyed Duke trip

Kyle Griswould, from Shaw High School in Columbus, Ga., took an official visit to Duke last month. He gave us a play-by-play of the weekend.

"We toured the campus and all of that stuff," Kyle Griswould stated. "We saw the locker room, trainer's room, the chapel, and just about everything. It was a chance for me to see more than I saw the first time I was up there. It was a very positive experience."

"The players that are already up there seem real happy with what's going on. There's a real positive vibe up there. I've looked at their depth chart. I have a great chance of playing time as a freshman. I definitely wanna be a Blue Devil."

Griswould has received several offers in recent months, but he remains solid with his committment.

"MTSU recently offered me," he said. "Georgia State has offered, too. I'm still fully committed to Duke, though. That hasn't changed one bit."

Griswould is a well-rounded offensive player. The Duke coaching staff plans to take advantage of his skills.

"They've talked to me about moving me around," he said. "They're gonna play me some at the slot, and some at running back. Coach (Ron) Middleton said that I have a good chance of returning kicks as a freshman."
