Terps receive committment from OL

Maryland received an early signing day treat as they received a commitment from offensive lineman Nick Klemm.

Nick Klemm is a 6'6" 280 pound offensive lineman from Marietta, Georgia. Klemm had narrowed his choices to Boston College and the Terps. Nick was generous enough to do a brief interview with Turtle Sports Report tonight.

Now that the recruiting process is over, looking back, how was the experience?

The recruiting process was very stressful and it took a while.

What was it that inevitably led you to choosing Maryland?

I developed a really good relationship with Coach Friedgen and Coach Brattan (offensive line coach). It really felt like family. The campus was beautiful and in terms of academics, their business school is in the Top 30.

Has the coaching staff told you what type of impact they expect you to make next year?

They said I will probably be red-shirted. This way I can spend the year getting bigger and stronger. They told me they expect me to play offensive line, most likely offensive guard.

Turtle Sports Report would like to thank Nick for being gracious enough to do an interview with us even though this is an extremely busy time for him. Welcome to College Park Nick, we wish you nothing but success.
