**The 6' 3", 215 pound Parade All-American, Pat Patterson, was the crown to Ole Miss' receiving class. The Noxubee County star can go up and get the ball with the best of them. He also uses his frame to shield the defender when the ball is anywhere in his area. Patterson has the best hands we saw out of any WR in the country this year. He has a chance to make an immediate impact on a deep and talented WR core at Ole Miss this upcoming season.
**The sleeper out of the group might end up being Ja-Mes Logan out of Houston (TX). The Westfield High product has very good size (6' 2", 190) and shows great vision with the ball in his hands. Logan was highly recruited as he received offers Oklahoma State, Oregon, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oregon and several more BCS programs throughout the recruiting process.
**Maybe Mississippi's best kept secret was Terrell Grant out of Cleveland. Terrell measured in at Ole Miss' senior camp at 6' 2", 206 and ran in the 4.4's on each 40 yard dash run. He impressed the Ole Miss staff so much that they offered him on the spot. Grant played in a run oriented offense during his career which kept his numbers down, but he did manage to have over 800 yards receiving as a senior. Terrell is a very physical receiver who has the speed to take it to the house when he gets in the open field.
The one(s) who got away: Kevin Norwood and Marlon Brown
2010 Outlook: We look for Ole Miss to look for another scat back type receiver who can take it to the house on any given play next year. Also look for them to sign another skilled receiver as they are only returning four WR's in 2010 outside of the three that are entering the program this upcoming season.
