"I am getting letters from Mississippi State, Southern Mississippi, Ole Miss, Alabama and Tennessee," said Love of his early suitors. "I am probably getting the most from Mississippi State and Ole Miss."
The shifty speedster plans to get a behind the scenes look at one of his top schools this weekend.
"I am going to Mississippi State for their Junior Day," said Love. "I have been down there the past two years for their passing camp. I went to a game down there last year too."
Love is one of the fleetest of foot in his area, but he believes his game is comprised of much more than just straight line speed.
"I have great vision. When I am running I see the whole field," said Jamerson. "I can see the defenders before they see me. I can see them out there and I can make a move. For my size I am very powerful and I have great speed. I just ran a 4.4 flat on Monday."
Not one to rest on his laurels, Love plans to work especially hard this summer to ensure his senior campaign is the best of his prep career.
"I want to get my legs stronger and I want to gain a couple of pounds," said Jamerson. "I want to be an every down back. I want to do a better job stepping up on my blocks and I want to be better with my footwork."
The Aberdeen standout reports that academics and the chance at some early playing time will be key factors in his college decision.
"I am going to be looking at academics and to see if they have the have the fields I want to major in like business," said Love. "I want to play early even if I don't start. I am willing to play a little corner if I need to. I just want to get on the field and be a part of the offense. I want to play special teams or anything to get on the field."
